Renton Little League Starts Season

February 3rd, 2012 at Fri, 3rd, 2012 at 1:36 pm by Todd Smith

It’s that time again! Mariner’s Fanfest has come and gone. Pitchers and catchers will be reporting to Spring Training soon. Coaches are getting out their equipment bags and whistles. Baseball is here again!!

This Saturday there is a pre-season warm up day being held at Hazen High School in the gymnasium. This is a chance for players to do some throwing, hitting, and drills prior to the try outs later this month. Anyone interested in coaching needs to bring a copy of their Driver’s License and fill out a volunteer form. The following 2 Saturdays will be player evaluations. All players will need to attend at least 1 player evaluation date if they wish to be placed on a team. Players are allowed to attend both evaluation dates if they wish to be evaluated more than once.
